12 Little Things WE Can Do for OUR Country

Posted on | March 1, 2010 | No Comments

Last Saturday’s class was both depressing and encouraging. Our professor talked about something that’s very close to my heart. He shared with us his observations how Vietnam has blossomed into a much developed country at a rate that’s faster and steeper than ours (few more years and their infrastructure will be a lot better). At the same time he stressed on the message that it may not be too late for us to catch up IF only we do our best to vote wisely this coming May election. One of the groups who did a report likewise complemented our professor’s message by showing us a video of Alex Lacson’s “12 little things we can do for our country are small acts of patriotism.” Watch it and reflect how well you are compared to it. By the way, I’m doing 9 out of 12 of these “little things” and hope that someday I’ll be much near doing all 12.

If you enjoyed and learned anything from this video, please share it to others as well. Good luck to all of us Filipinos. Remember, May 2010 is make or break for all of us. Vote wisely!

By the way, not because Alex Lacson’s site implies that he is supporting the yellow team, doesn’t mean that I’m with him nor should you. Let’s just learn from his message and vote whoever we think (after careful thinking and consideration) has the capacity to lift us out of our current predicament.

Mood: 2/10 Honks! (I think I’m now feeling better than 4 days ago)
