Pizza Talk

Today is pizza day and I find some good tidbits to write about. Here are my 8 slices of pizza talk:

I think I got a cold. I need to take something round and can decongest my stuffy nose…”Hello, Pizza Hut delivery? I’ll get one large-size pizza and put extra hot sauce please.”
This afternoon we watched the UAAP Volleyball series on TV and it is sponsored by Shakey’s Pizza. We cheered for UST against DLSU as we feast on a Pizza Hut pizza. Ooopppsss. (By the way, I don’t know for how long it has been, but wifey and I have been fond of watching volleyball for quite some time already.)
I find it quite an amazing coincidence that Shakey’s was established while I was a two-year old boy. I just wonder when they served the first Friday Special – our favorite order when wifey and I was still dating.
When I was a little boy I used to believe that the iconic Shakey’s top(?) hat is edible.
During a dinner at Wisconsin, I impressed Intel folks from Malaysia, Costa Rica, China and the U.S. just by finishing a 14-inch pizza. (Philippine pride? *LOL*)
One thing I learned from one of my MBA classes is that Dear Darla is a pizza. (Costly, huh?)
It was in a place in Bacolod called Mamma Maria’s Pizzeria where I saw the biggest Philippine pizza ever.
One pizza I’d like to really try is the pinakbet pizza of Ilocos. (Will it be worth the long drive?)

Mood: 2/10 Honks! (If I can have one staple food, it would be pizza)
